Is Airbus's idestick catching on?
We all know that in 1988 they released the A320, starting the new generation of computerized aircraft. They also got rid of the more traditional control column and have replaced it with a sidestick, as they have been doing on their aircraft ever since. Are budget airlines a good thing?
Budget airlines like Ryanair and Easyjet have grown quickly, but is the way they make the flights so cheap really a good thing by charging for pretty much everything? Personally, I think they are okay, so long as charging for extras doesn't go out of hand, like I think it has on Ryanair.
